It also has a higher body than a normal Volkswagen Beetle. In addition, it has 19-inch wheel hubs that are normally equipped on a sporty and powerful car. Inside the car, there is a 7.7-inch high-definition touchscreen connecting with multimedia entertainment system.Mercedes-Benz New C-ClassThe model made its world premiere at the 2014 Detroit show. With best-in-class aerodynamics and new, fuel-efficient engines, it consumes up to 20 percent less fuel than its predecessor.The car has a 4,686 mm wheelbase. Three engine variants are available at the market launch — a diesel in the guise of the C 220 BlueTEC and two petrol models, C 180 and C 200.The C180 is equipped with a 1.6 T engine, with peak power of 115 kW and top torque of 250 Nm. The C 200 has a 2.0 T engine that generates a peak power of 135 kW and a top torque of 300 Nm. A head-up display is also new to the C-Class.Infiniti Q50 Eau RougeNamed after one of the greatest corners in modern racing, the Q50 Eau Rouge concept is a combination of Infiniti luxury and the Red Bull F1 racing team’s competitive spirit.Lower and wider than the Q50 sedan, it has a roof and side mirror housings made of carbon fiber. The 21-inch wheel hubs are forged from lightweight alloy.It is reported that Infiniti engineers would consider putting an engine with a power output of more than 360 kW and a top torque of 813 Nm if the Eau Rouge would be put in production.Cadillac ATS CoupeThe 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe made its premiere at the 2014 Detroit auto show. It rides on a 2,775 mm wheelbase and has standard 18-inch wheel hubs.There are two powertrain options — a basic 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces peak power of 203 kW and a top torque of 400 Nm; and an optional 3.6-liter V-6 rated at 239 kW and 373Nm.The model that goes 0 to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds will hit the market in summer.Chevrolet Z06The 2015 model is the first Corvette Z06 to offer a supercharged engine, an automatic transmission and, thanks to a stronger aluminum frame, a removable roof panel. Choices of two world-class engines are available — the 3.6 L Pentastar V-6 engine that produces a best-in-class peak power of 220 kW, and the standard 2.4 L MultiAir 2 Tigershark I-4 engine that produces 137 kW of top power.BMW 2 Series CoupeThe model’s world debut is one of the biggest highlights at the 2014 Detroit auto show. Owing to a dynamic and elegant design language typical of the BMW family, the model is shaping up to be an important newcomer to the compact segment. Compared to the BMW 1 Series Coupe, this model has four spacious seats, updated equipment and higher fuel efficiency. At the show, BMW also displayed the M235i, equipped with the M Performance TwinPower Turbo straight six-cylinder engine. It can generate top power of 240 kW. Another model on display is the 228i equipped with a 2.0 L four-cylinder engine using TwinPower Turbo technology. It has a peak power of 180 kW.Porsche 911 TargaThis model reshapes the classic 911 Targa invented in 1965. But the 2015 911 Targa has come to the Detroit auto show with a new-school version of some classic tech. Equipped with a 3.4L flat-six engine just behind the rear axle and a seven-speed manual transmission, the entry-level Targa 4 has a maximum power of 257 kW, making the car capable of speeds of 282 km/h at the top end and enabling a 0-to-100 km/h sprint in 4.6 seconds.
